We've curated a series of hands-on lab activities to enhance the homeschooling curriculum. Explore our current classes, and stay tuned for additional offerings soon. Each lab cost is one price per time slot. However, each class has a capacity of up to 3 students. So feel free to coordinate with other parents to fill up the class. All worksheets, lab reports and supplies will be provided. We recommend bringing a pencil and notepad.

Cost: $39 - 1.5 hours
Description: This lab introduces the concept of photosynthesis through hands-on experiments with algae beads and spinach chlorophyll extraction. Participants will witness the process of photosynthesis in action and understand the role of chlorophyll in capturing light energy. Prior knowledge of basic biology concepts and an understanding of the photosynthetic process are recommended.
Cost: $49 - 2.0 hours
Description: In this lab, participants will learn about titration techniques by determining the concentration of vinegar using baking soda. Through precise measurements and calculations, they will uncover the acidity of vinegar and gain practical experience in quantitative analysis. Prior knowledge of basic chemistry principles, including stoichiometry and acid-base reactions, is recommended.
Cost: $39 - 1.5 hours
Description: This lab utilizes spectrophotometry for pH measurement and quantification of Spirulina algae populations. Participants will learn how to use spectrophotometers for accurate analysis and explore the relationship between absorbance and concentration. Prior knowledge of basic laboratory techniques, spectrophotometry principles, and an understanding of the pH scale are recommended.
Cost: $59 - 3.0 hours
Description: Dive into the fundamentals of laboratory measurements and uncertainties in this workshop. Participants will refine their skills in measuring volume, length, mass, and cell counts while exploring the concept of uncertainty and significant figures in scientific analyses. Proficiency in the metric system, mathematical operations, and scientific notation is recommended.
